Tonight we went to Tim and Mandie's for Kiya's Sixteenth birthday dinner. Kiya recently went for her first job interview, at Banjos, a local chain bakery in Kingston and surprise, surprise, she got the job!! She is quite small, just hope the customers will be able to see her over the counter!!!
This job is only casual of course, she still has at least one more year at school. I always remember when Tim applied for a similar position many years ago with Macdonalds, he didn't get it because he was not prepared to shave off his beard. She should not have this problem!!
