Trudie was the big wheel on the front of the 60 meter long machine which made the Elbe Tunnel some years ago (it tells you when if you read the blurb) Now she has been superceded by another tunnel borer so she stands here at the Working Museum for all to see and marvel at this clever bit of engineering.
