In the background is the building in which I used to work, more than 50 years ago, The Slomanhaus, the one with the funny lift I have told you about, which went up and down and round and round without stopping, and without doors, you just hopped in or out (and said your prayers 'cos it was called a Pater Noster (google?) hope I have spelt it right, my Latin is not all that!!!
