You may think that this is an odd choice for a pleasant walk in the afternoon sun, but in fact it is a large, beautifully laid out park which must cover many acres. It is the main cemetery for Hamburg and many famous people are buried or honoured here. It was the perfect antidote to sitting round a table for a couple of hours drinking numerous cups of coffee and eating!!!
