and learnt a bit more about the church, about how they were working on it early 1900s and set it alight with a blowtorch, then it was rebuilt, then bombed severely in the second world war, right at the end, then restored again. It has been through a lot, this church, but it is the most important one in Hamburg, everybody who comes here visits Michel, and how lucky am I that it is just three minutes away?
