Yesterday on my morning walk with Heidi we were lucky enough to see not one, but two Rainbow Lorikeets in the Flowering Gum Tree on the Esplanade. I have all my three Bird Books down at the moment as I am not sure I have named them correctly. I can't find one with such a blue head in Tasmania, but I am sure it is not a Rosella. I shall have to follow this one up, but meanwhile a very satisfactory photo.
