I think it is time I was really ruthless and got rid of this cactus!! I hate to do it, it has grown so prolifically but it is so sharp that I can't do anything with the surrounding garden and it is getting overgrown with grass and weeds. So, sorry as I am, its days are numbered. I will have to put on my chainmail armour to deal with it, if you want a cutting just say so.
