Tina is Heidi´s oldest neice. She came to visit us when we lived down the Huon. She lives in a great big barn of a place with some lovely little touches. They were both Oceanographers when they came to Hobart, now she works arranging Meteorological conferences in all the European cities but UK is not included as "they are conscious of their green footprint" so they won´t travel!!! Very impressive! (Probably the real reason is they can´t afford it!)
There were lots of birds flying around in their lovely wild garden (complete with raised vegie bed and compost heaps) but I did try, to no avail, to take some photos, the best I could do was a very out of focus little bird which they said could have been a "fence Queen" (will have to find a bird book, funnily enough Heidi has walls and walls of books but I think I have stumped her this time!!
