Meanwhile back in Tassie (its Heidi here) it in 0 degrees and even our dam is iced over never seen that before!!

We had some retail therapy

then we had some lunch

and by then just what the Dr. ordered a deep tissue massage...aahhhhhhhh!!

Had enough of this, off to sunny Queensland tomorrow, talk from there!

 

Hurrah Black Caviar won at Ascot. Well done , we willbe hearing about this for the next few days at least!

Twas a crisp winters day but we ventured out for lunch at the Brewery and were not disappointed with the meal, but just look at the snow up on the mountain! OK I know you might scoff if you come from a country where it really snows, but this is the best we can do, sorry!

The Tasmanian Tiger was looking a bit motheaten but Ken and Debbie more than made up for that!

We finished up at The Tip Shop, they havejust about everything there!

Don't laugh, I am off to Line Dancing this morning, for my co-ordination and memory!!! Hope I don't make too much of a fool of myself, it's been a long time between (line) dances.

Sunrise & Winter Solstice

 

Here I am, sitting on the couch And blogging! How civilized is that?

This is a great learning curve, I just hope I am up for it.

They told us Tasmanians have two heads, we must have been here long enough for Ken to qualify!!

 

We got given two trailer-loads of spoilt hay, so you can guess how we spent most of the afternoon.

 

 

We went down to Cygnet, to the Sunday Market and had a job getting past the first stall, run by friends of ours, a blast of nostalgia, so we indulged!
