Three Guesses what I was doing last night?

 

Didn't get an invite as the Royal Photographer so I took my own Happy Snaps, over 100 of them, lots to delete!

What the crowd had been waiting for, and they were not disappointed. The Balcony scenes are something everyone expects these days and the crowds in the Mall were fantastic, people as far as the eye could see, and all having a jolly good time!

The Flypast

 

 

 

 

I was quite impressed with the Flypast, two Spitfires and a Lancaster Bomber, all from WW2 and then the four up to the minute ones like Prince William flies. There were murmers that in a country in dire financial straits this was an expensive operation but what the heck, you can't take it with you!!!

They wanted me to pose for them, as long as I didn't insist on taking my clothes off! This was the result. Better than I could do.

Is there no end to this woman's resourcefullness, she will put all the Multi Nationals out of business?

 

 

Now I am even making my own Tomato Puree!

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!

 

Believe it or not, there was a wattle bird in this bush, but unfortunately although I waited patiently for quite a while, I obviously didn't get him, sorry!

Anyway it is a very nice bush, and belongs to the next door neighbours.

Blast from the past!!

We all entered a slimming competition and according to the newspaper so did hundreds of other couples but for some reason or other us lot all got chosen to do the comp, all sounded a bit fishy to me! Nobody else knew that we were three sisters plus husbands, don't know what happened to all the other applicants but anyway we all went for our weigh in, Derek with a pocket full of marbles we later learnt!! A week later, after having these sachets of stuff three times a day, we had to promise to stick rigidly to the diet, we went back for another weigh in, Derek this time without his pockets stuffed with marbles!! Who do you think won, June and Derek of course, and they hadn't even had any of the substitute meals all week. They got four days holiday in Majorca, what a pair of cheats. We didn't care, we all had a jolly good laugh about the whole thing, and of course, Derek laughed the loudest!!

(I think they deserved to win, as Derek looked the biggest dalk!!)
