The Palm

Imagine living on a Frond, rather than a road! The Palm is the first of three envisaged to be built, but now the other two are on hold, due to lack of finance.

The Palm is the world's largest artificial island and its trunk is almost l km long, it has 16 fronds and a crescent island breakwater measuring 11 km.

At the end of the Palm is the Hotel Atlantis, which of course has the Lost Chamber Aquarium with over 65,000 sea creatures.

I liked the swordfish decorating the top of the hotel, in fact the attention to detail everywhere is amazing.
