Its that time of the year when I take my icecream container, and drive up into them thar hills and pick yummy blackberries for blackberry and apple crumble!
From the first photo to the second, it doesn't take much time or effort and the result is worth all the nasty thorns I encountered on the way.

Wish someone would make a blackberry and apple crumble for me! Looks delicions. Reminds me of the holidays we took in Ireland years ago when we used to pick our blackberries by the roadside
When you come next I promise I will make one for you. I usually pick a few to put in the freezer for the rest of the year, and yes, I picked these by the roadside and as the roads are unsurfaced you have to wash them first!!
