South Arm

Did a great walk with Probus ladies yesterday, empty beaches, clear blue skies with lovely cloud formations, and a communal picnic to finish it all off.
The highlight was the sight of the Iron Pot Lighthouse, the closest one can get to it except, of
course by boat.   This little island used to have houses and enough children to justify a school. It stands at the mouth of the Derwent River, guarding the entrance to Hobart.

I see that you are making the most of a wonderful spring weather, while we are getting into winter, but also blue skies and bright sunshine over Hamburg. Unfortunately, it won't last.

Don't know if this will work. I seem to have problems with your new app/blog.
Anyway, thanks for the good wishes which I return with all my very best for you all.
I had a fairly quiet beginning to the New Year. Startet with a lovely organ/trumpets concert in the Michel and at midnight enjoyed the fireworks down at the harbour. Weather has been changing constantly, already two floodings of the Fischmarkt in the new year. But I am safe of my Venusberg.
