Regular visitor
I must say, I am very impressed at the lengths Cowans are going to, to save our wooden floor.
Matt was here again yesterday, with his moisture-meter, checking the fans and moving them around where necessary. We have to have them on all day, and the de-humidifier on all night, so there is no peace for the wicked!
The good news is that we will have new vinyl laid in laundry, toilet and bathroom and I was very disappointed with my choice last time, I hope I will do better this time.

Heidi in the news!
Heidi made her Debut last night on Win News, a good news story about making her life that little bit easier now she is a fully independent woman.
She was dreading it, but did well and I filmed it but the clip was too long to put on here, but I will keep trying.
Water water everywhere!
And now I know how Noah felt when he built his Arc! Came home, after being away for three and a half hours, to find I had left the laundry tap on, with the plug in. Not good! Thank heaven for Insurance and a very friendly Insurance Company who seem to understand (old) people and the things they do, or don't do, like leaving taps running.
We have now had five big fan heaters blowing under the house and under the carpets for two days and they need to keep running possibly till Sunday. We are allowed to turn them off at night, and then turn the dehumidifier on!
Won't do that again in a hurry.
( the fate of the floating floor is still not known but we will be getting new vinyl in the bathroom, toilet and laundry and someone is coming to check out the washing machine, my good faithful Miele which we have had over 22 years!)
No photos, it's not worth a picture, imagination works better!

A couple of our house plants
are doing very nicely Thankyou! The Hoya Bella which I rescued from Mandie, is blooming on every tip and the Bromeliad with very serrated strong leaves has surprised us with a couple of blooms which I could easily have missed as they don't last long. This has been an amazing plant and was given to me by a lady whose sewing machine I purchased through Gum Tree about eighteen months ago.

We have found a new place to keep cool!
The back deck is the coolest place today.
And that's the netted garden bed and apple tree down there.
This Gardening lark, it's a full time job!
It's going to be 35° today so I have been out early, harvesting Lebanese cucumbers, runner beans and the last of my peas.
The bean on the left got a bit confused, and didn't know whether it was coming or going!
