Fairy Penguin in distress!

We managed to rescue this little Fairy Penguin, no mean feat with byust a bucket on the end of a rope, in high seas with the boat bobbing all over the place. He had obviously left the nest too soon and goodness knows how long he had been bobbing around in that rough sea before we came alone.

No 28 Scenic Drive!

About time I showed you a few more photos of the new abode. We will probably be moving in next week, the Newhams Jnr. don't waste any time! The kitchen and bathroom will be left for the time being, but should be completely replaced in the next three months or so, we thought we would live with them as they are before we decide just what to do. It is a nice sunny house and the views from most windows are good, we will not miss our water views too much and it is still only ten minutes drive to go walking on 'our' beach!

Koenigsberge Klopse

are on the menu tonight! I must say, we are all enjoying having a resident German Chef in the house, and we are making the most of her. I asked her for some individual tuition on 'Dressing making' as every salad she dresses tastes absolutely fabulous, but alas I think it is all in the genes, and I will never be able to master it, but I will have a ****** good try!
